RTerra, combined with the strength and proven technology of the GSWR Wire Rope Mesh System and Reinforced Rock Net System (RRN) anchored on the ground, coupled with a steel mesh fence installed on top of a reinforced concrete retaining wall, delivered a complete solution providing slope stability and protection again potential rockfall and rolling slope debris for the operating powerhouse of the 16.5 NW Sibulan Hydro A, which is a run-of-river hydroelectric system providing clean and renewable energy.
With RTerra’s technical expertise and construction experience, the complete solution was installed in a short period of time with very mimimal environment impact. The wire mesh system and steel mesh fence were installed without needing to remove any tree or in-situ boulders. The workers were well-equipped with appropriate PPE and tools. Overall, the protection was delivered with utmost consideration to the environment and construction safety standards.
