Project Name: Environmental Solution for the Runruno Gold-Molybdenum Mining Operation

RTerra’s environmental solutions gave FCF Minerals Corporation the confidence and satisfaction to address concerns at their Runruno Gold-Molybdenum mine site. Of primary importance to their operation is the control of leakage from mine wastes. RTerra supplied the HDPE liners which provide a non-permeable layer for the mine settling pond, on top of a non-woven geotextile which in turn provides that layer of protection for the HDPE liners against puncture from sharp-angled gravels and coarse sand. RTerra supplied the same HDPE liners for the application of wrapping the tailings pipeline trench and preventing any leakage on the ground during conveyance of mine wastes.
Aside from the HDPE liners, RTerra also supplied the cocomats for erosion control and slope stabilization of the benched slopes of the access road going to Malilibeg dump site.
The complexity and sensitivity of mining projects in the country have given RTerra the opportunity to offer its environmental solutions to mine developers and operators in terms of complying with the environmental requirements based on existing mining laws and regulations.
